And out of the 1004$ starting amount, 756$ were left, 668$ were invested and 87$ were uninvested funds. Are there any annoying hidden costs or trouble when you try to take your money out? General Trading Principles Applicable to Social Trading

I followed the “time in the market beats timing the market”, but I guess in copytrading it doesn’t apply. These are realised losses for those not very familiar with trading, it’s like buying a stock at 1000$ and selling it at 750$, that’s money gone forever.

Is Etoro a reliable and safe platform to hold stocks long term as of 2023?
This is not a bashing post, do what you will with that information. For reference if I had put everything on VOO on the same day I started my copy, today I would be up by 30%, instead of 20% down. I guess thank god Nvidia went up by 400% or things would be worse. To actually be worse than where I was when I started because of inflation. At least that’s how it was advertised, I did quite a bit of research to see who are good choices to copy and so with optimism I started my copy!
